Wildfind Guiding
Wildfind guiding offers participants engaging ecology tours, varying in duration, difficulty and depth, but all full of opportunity for learning, adventure and nature connection. Reach out to customize your outing based on your ecological interests, time commitment, age of participants and abilities. Destinations include everywhere from local parks within Duluth city limits to state parks and wildlife areas within a two hour drive of Duluth.
Ecology of the Northwoods
Guided hike covering general ecology of the area. Includes interpretation of natural signs and identification of birds, mammals, plants and fungi encountered along the way. We'll explore how these species relate in their environment, the roles they play in the ecosystem, and observe the forces that shape the land.
Birding the Northwoods
Whether you are new to birding or an experienced birder, I have a custom designed birding experience to meet your goals. Delve into the avian world of the Northwoods and discover why birds and birders flock to this region in spring, summer, fall and winter. Trips range from a family stroll in the woods covering the basics of birding or full-day outings targeting rare birds for your life list. Having scouted the area ahead of time, we'll tour the current hotspots and explore biodiverse bird habitat.
Nature Photography
Guided nature photography tours are tailored to your skill level and goals. If you're new to photography, I can assist you with tips and tricks for camera settings, composition and know-how to make great photographs. For experienced photographers, I offer knowledge of the area and ethical guiding to lead you to wildlife and iconic landscapes of the Northwoods.

$100 for 1-2 hours
(up to 4 people, $30 for each additional person. Maximum 8 people.)
Guided half-day
$200 for 2-4 hours
(up to 4 people, $30 for each additional person)
Guided full-day
$300 for 5-9 hours
